Enjoyable but didn’t appreciate being by elevator and hearing it all night. Room also dated.
Loved the atmosphere and the location but the rooms could use an update. All the amenities, including the bathroom, furniture, and carpet just seemed a little worn. Cleaning staff obviously does a great job but I think it’s time to update for that price.

I stayed for a week on business. For reference, I have stayed at this Fairmont before. A few observations - love the new Starbuck's! The elevators seem to be faster and the "card pads" in the elevators actually work I miss having water in the room - where did the food and water go? Food - I had room service once and ate in the restaurant once. The arugula salad is a hit - I would order that every time. The Banh Mi was a bit of a miss. There was not much on the sandwich and the flavor was lacking. The waffle fries were limp - not even crispy. The staff - front desk, bar, etc - all were great. Communicative and responsive.
Our bellhop was absolutely amazing! He recommended an amazing breakfast spot and always stopped us to talk in the lobby!

I checked in late Monday evening and was given room 2207: no clock, no coffee set up (just the Keurig). No cups, no coffee pods, no creamers....just the Keurig. The furniture that the Keurig sits on, housing a refrigerator and the empty drawers where the coffee supplies should have been, one door of the cabinet's hinges were loose and the door was sagging when opened. Refrigerator had nothing in it. No water, no honor bar. Nothing. The safe's battery was low, so it didn't work. And the reading light switches for above the bed turned on and off the light for the other side, not the one above the pillow. Ridiculous. When the "coffee person" came the next day, while I was at work, they threw out the clean paper cups I had requested be sent to my room so I could have tea the night prior. And, in addition, threw out two containers of powdered collagen that I had left there for my use over the balance of my stay. I can't imagine why they'd have done that. It was clearly a guest's personal item. Disappointing.
The room was not up to par with other 4 star hotels I have Stayed at. The room needed a deep clean spots on the rug, furniture and desk chair. There were streaks on the glass on the desk and end tables and the windows. Also the room had a strong cleaning agent smell. Also some of the lights were not working. Just not what you would expect at a four star hotel and for the price

I am still awaiting my invoice from the stay. During checkout I was informed that the invoice would arrive at my corporate email and could not be printed due to an issue. I called back 3 days later and requested the invoice and was told it would be sent to the email on file. 2 days after that I still have not received the invoice. On my last stay, I was mistakenly charged for a coconut water that I did not drink. Hopefully there are no incorrect charges on this invoice. It is a huge inconvenience to keep requesting the invoice as I am unable to have my expenses filed.
