The hotel is gorgeous, with a staff that is usually extremely pleasant. However, this time people seemed stressed, with the lunch and breakfast service being faulty in terms of the time it took for them to provide tea and other foods. The hotel has double charged me for a meal. The concierge, however, was spectacular helping me out to borrow me a gorgeous looking tie.
Overall very good services, which have improved since my last stay in September, 23. However, English language skills are poor

Beautiful but expensive hotel. Our stay was ruined by construction noise near our wing of the hotel across the street that started very early in the morning. Staff was aware of the issue but gave us no warning

We had an amazing time at Fairmont Rio. Our night stay completely exceeded our expectations. The 5 star service here is world class. Never experienced such great service. Will definitely return soon.
The main issue was the noise from adjacent building site. Impossible to use balcony and still loud even in room. Breakfast was varied to suit most tastes but bread for toast was poor quality and it would have been useful to have English Breakfast tea ( nearest was African ) . Checking in was incredibly slow which is so frustrating after a long flight.

The stay was great, except for the noise in the room (windows should be better structured). Food was great and staff very helpful. However, the rewards of accor do not work. I stayed in Pulmann in January and not in Fairmont and not points were credited. The rewards site does not have any way for you to get actual help, only Q&A. Not easy to navigate and not easy to get any help
